WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Two student-athletes from the Winston-Salem State University football team have earned Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) weekly honors for week four, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Davontay Deloatch from Greensboro, North Carolina was named the Receiver of the Week after having 12 receptions for 88 yards and three receiving  touchdowns. Deloatch caught back-to-back touchdown passes giving the Rams a 13-0 lead in the 1st quarter, in the 28-21 victory. 

Jamieson "Jupe" Alston from Fayetteville, North Carolina was named Linebacker of the Week after recording 13 tackles (nine solo, four assists) and also six tackles for loss (five solo) for 27 yards.

The Rams will be back in action on Saturday, October 4 hosting Virginia Union at 1:00 p.m. inside Bowman Gray Stadium.
