Fayetteville, N.C– The Winston-Salem State University men's basketball team fell to Fayetteville State University 108-82 inside the Tullis Arena.
The Rams moved to (7-10, 2-5 CIAA, 0-3 South).
Tyre Boykin led the Rams with 24 points, followed by Masaun Byrant with 18 points, Abou Carmara chipped in with a double-double of 14 points and 18 rebounds.

The Rams went 33-of-65 from the field, 6-of-17 from three, and 10-of-18 from the free-throw line. The Rams grabbed 43 rebounds, scored 48 points in the paint, and 34 bench points.
How It Happened
In the first half, the Rams took a 6-4 lead on a Tyre Boykin jumper (16:29). FSU went on a 6-0 run, taking a 10-6 lead on a three-pointer (15:45). WSSU went on a 8-2 run, taking a 19-18 on two Ethan English free-throws (11:31). The Broncos answered back with a 6-0 run, taking a 25-19 lead on a dunk (10:11). The Rams answered back with a 19-4 run, taking a 37-29 lead on a Lance Gill three-pointer (5:07). FSU went on a 8-0 run, tying the game at 41-41 on a and-one (2:48). A Tyre Boykin three-pointer gave the Rams a 46-41 lead (1:52). WSSU took a 50-48 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Broncos went on a 15-2 run, taking a 63-52 lead on a lay-up (16:09). Two Masaun Byrant free-throws chipped the lead to 64-56 (13:24). The Broncos went on a 9-2 run, as their lead grew to 82-64 (7:04).
