The men will take on Livingstone College on January 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. inside the C.E. Gaines Center.

Rams Returners:
The Rams brought back eight returners from last year's team, sophomores CJ Alston, Khyelle Ingram, Samuel Newkirk, redshirt sophomore Masaun Bryant, juniors Lance Gill and Jaiden Thompson, senior Abou Camara and redshirt senior Tyre Boykin.
  
Ram Newcomers:
During the off-season the Rams welcomed seven newcomers, freshmen Bryson Cowan, Arrington Kee, sophomores Treyton "Tre" Crite and Isaiah Sutherland; seniors Demetri Patterson and Isaiah Ray and redshirt senior Ethan English.

Overall, the Rams were selected to finish 12th in the CIAA preseason poll.

CIAA Weekly Awards 

• Abou Camara was named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week for week eight. 

Last Time Out
The Rams fell to Fayetteville State University 108-82 on January 27. Tyre Boykin led the Rams with 24 points, followed by Masaun Byrant with 18 points, Abou Carmara chipped in with a double-double of 14 points and 18 rebounds. 

Scouting Report 
Tyre Boykin is the Rams' leading scorer with 20.0 points per game, followed by Khyelle Ingram with 9.2 points per game. WSSU is averaging 74.8 points per game. 

Johnson C. Smith University (6-10, 3-5 CIAA) 
The Golden Bulls defeated Shaw 90-77 on January 21. Trey Pettigrew and Jamauri Byrant both leads the Golden Bulls in scoring with 16.5 points per game, followed by Jared Davis with 11.3 points per game. JCSU is averaging 74.9 per game. 

Livingstone College (7-11, 3-5 CIAA) 
The Blue Bears fell to Fayetteville State 96-80 on January 21. James Nipper leads the Broncos in scoring with 13.2 points per game, followed by Kenneth Tyree Jr. with 11.8 points per game. LC is averaging 69.9 per game.
