WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Breonna Roaf from Winston-Salem State University women's basketball team was named Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Rookie of the Week the league announced Tuesday.

Roaf delivered an efficient and impactful week for Winston-Salem State, totaling 32 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and four steals across three victories while shooting 11 of 21 from the field, 4 of 7 from three point range, and a perfect 6 of 6 from the free throw line. 

Her standout performance came against Livingstone, where she scored a season high 26 points on 9 of 11 shooting while adding four rebounds, two assists, and a steal. She followed with steady all around contributions against Claflin and Shaw, continuing to impact the game beyond scoring. 

Roaf and the Rams will be back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Johnson C. Smith. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
