WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) recognizes 141 student-athletes who have been named to the Fall 2025 CIAA Commissioner's Honor Roll. All together the CIAA recongized 1,334 student-athletes from its member institutions. The announcement highlights the continued academic excellence of CIAA student-athletes across its member institutions.
The CIAA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average during the semester while competing in intercollegiate athletics. The recognition reflects the conference's commitment to academic achievement and the holistic development of student-athletes both in competition and in the classroom.
The institutional breakdown of honorees for the Fall 2025 semester is as follows:

Bowie State University – 149
Claflin University – 83
Elizabeth City State University – 97
Fayetteville State University – 154
Johnson C. Smith University – 175
Lincoln University (PA) – 105

WSSU Student-Athletes included six from men's basketball, 58 from football, 10 from men's golf, 13 from women's basketball, 14 from softball, 6 from tennis, 23 from women's cross country/ track and field, 11 from volleyball.
