CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Winston-Salem State University women's volleyball junior setter Zaria Keys was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Setter of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Chicago, Illinois, native anchored the Rams' offense through two highly competitive five-set matches, totaling 68 assists while helping WSSU push both opponents to the limit. Keys recorded 48 assists against Bluefield State and 20 assists against Fayetteville State, while also contributing 29 digs and two service aces across the two matches.

Against Bluefield State, Keys helped guide the Rams to 63 kills while keeping the WSSU offense in rhythm throughout the five-set victory. She followed that performance with 20 assists against Fayetteville State, continuing to provide consistent offensive distribution in another tightly contested match.

"Zaria brings a positive mindset every day, and it's showing in her play," WSSU head coach Christa Brown said. "Proud of her growth, leadership, and relentless work ethic—so deserving of this weekly honor!"

Keys' 68 assists across the two matches helped the Rams maintain their offensive rhythm while she also made an impact defensively with 29 digs. Her two service aces added to an all-around performance that earned her the conference's weekly recognition.

The CIAA Setter of the Week honor marks another recognition for Keys as she continues to play a key role in the Rams' offense during the 2026 season.
