Biography

2021: Played in eight games for the Rams, recording 30 tackles (23 solo). He recorded seven assists and had two interceptions. Played in the Inaugural HBCU Hall of Fame game in New Orleans. 

2020: The 2020 season was canceled due to concerns regarding COVID-19.

2019: Joshua exploded for a terrific junior season with the Rams. He started in all 10 games and he finished the season with 32 total tackles (26 solo). He also added four interceptions for 20 yards. He also added six pass breakups. For his efforts, he was a second-team All-CIAA selection. 

2018: Sat out the season after transferring from LIU-Post.

Personal: Joshua joined the Rams in the fall of 2018. He transferred Winston-Salem State University after playing two seasons at Long Island University-Post where he had a great career. He was a member of back-to-back NE-10 Conference Championship teams and he earned a spot on the Football Gazette All-Region Team. He was an NE-10 All-Conference selection as well. He also earned a spot on the NE-10 All-Rookie Team as well. He is a graduate of Lenape High School where he earned several honors. He was a two-time all-conference wide receiver and defensive back. He was also a member of back-to-back conference championship teams. He was also an all-county defensive back in 2016. He is a Sports Management/Psychology major and he is the son of Jacqueline and Jarrod Flowers.
