2011 • SOPHOMORE SEASON (Lenoir Community College): Zach is a junior college transfer from Lenoir Community College where he batted .337, with 13 extra-base hits, 22 RBI’s, and 10 stolen bases…..

HIGH SCHOOL:  Zach was a 3-sport athlete at Fuquay-Varina high school lettering 4 years in baseball, 3 in basketball, and 3 in cross-country…..high school baseball coach was Milton Senter…..was also a member of the Dean’s List.

PERSONAL: Elementary Education major…..born on 12/28/89…..parents are Stan and Robin Boraski…..career goal after college is to coach and operate his own baseball academy…..most memorable sports moment was getting the game winning hit against Broughton HS in 2006…..favorite thing about the WSSU baseball program is the ‘Team Bonding’.

COACH RITSCHE ON BORASKI:  “Zach will provide us with a bat in the spring that will hit for average and some additional “pop.”  He has a different mechanical approach than how we teach hitting and pitching in our program but he appears to perform well.  His versatility as a two-way player is a huge asset to our roster.  He will add depth to our outfield and be used as a righty specialist out of the bullpen in key situations.”
