Biography
2016-17: Brionna had a solid sophomore season for the Rams…She finished the season as one of the team’s most versatile players…She played in 26 of the team’s 28 games with 14 starts…She finished the season with 138 total points and 122 rebounds…She also added 21 steals with 13 blocks…Her best effort of the season came at Saint Augustine’s where she scored a career-high 14 points with 12 rebounds against the Falcons…She also scored 13 points at Concord.
2015-16: Brionna had a great freshman season for the Rams…She played in 26 games with three starts…For the season, she totaled 96 points and averaged 3.7 points per game…Her best effort of the season came at the 2016 CIAA Tournament when she scored 12 points with four rebounds against Shaw in the quarterfinal round of the tournament…She also had 12 points with eight rebounds in the Rams’ regular season finale against Livingstone.
Personal: Brionna joined the Rams in the fall of 2015 and was expected to be one of the top newcomers to the team…She is a 2015 graduate of James B. Hunt High School where she earned several honors, including being named the Big East Conference Co-Player of the Year…She was also named to the Big East All-Conference team and earned first team all-district honors…She was also named the Wilson Times Player of the Year and was honored as the team MVP…She is an Exercise Science major and the daughter of Charles and Sabrina Pate.
