Biography
2016-17: Tiana returned from a season-ending injury in 2015-16 for a strong junior season…She finished the season with 215 points and 29 steals…She also added 36 assists…She continued to be one of the team’s top three-point shooters, going 33-for-104 from long range…Her best game of the season came in the team’s season-opener when she scored a team-high 22 points, two shy of tying her career-high…She also had 18 points at Concord along with a 16-point effort against Clark-Atlanta in the Red & White Classic.
2015-16: Tiana was off to a strong start to the season before suffering a season-ending injury in December…She played in nine games with three starts, but she averaged a career-high 9.1 points per game…Her best effort came against the University of Virginia-Wise when she scored 15 points…She also had 14 points against Concord and 12 points against Washington Adventist.
2014-15: Tiana had a strong freshman season with the Rams...She played in 27 of the team’s 28 games with one start and finished the season as one of the top three-point shooters in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA)...She finished the season with 177 total points and averaged 6.6 points per game...She connected on 46-of-126 three-pointers to rank eighth in the CIAA in three-pointers made. She also shot 36.5 % from the three-point line to rank third...She scored a career-high 24 points against Shaw.
Personal: Tiana will join the Lady Rams in the fall of 2014 where she will be one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is a 2014 graduate of E.A. Laney High School where she played both of the guard positions…She is an Exercise Science major and the daughter of Anthony and Veronica Carter-Edwards.
