2013: Yasmin had a very strong junior season with the Lady Rams…She made 24 total pitching appearances and finished the season with a 9-8 overall record…She finished the season with 110.0 innings pitched and a 3.52 ERA…She finished the season with 55 total strikeouts and allowed 64 runs scored.

2012: Yasmin had a solid opening season for the Lady Rams…She made 30 pitching appearances for the Lady Rams and posted a 13-10 overall record…She recorded a 3.43 ERA and added 70 strikeouts…For the season, she finished with a .154 batting average. 

2011 (at Maryland-Eastern Shore): Played in 11 games…Walked eight times with just seven strikeouts…Appeared in four games as a pitcher.

Personal: Yasmin joined the Lady Rams softball program in the fall of 2011 after playing one season at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore…She is a 2010 graduate of James B. Dudley High School in nearby Greensboro, North Carolina where she earned four varsity letters in softball and three varsity letters in volleyball…She was an all-conference performer from 2007-10 in softball and the conference player of the year runner-up in 2010…She averaged 70 strikeouts every season…She was also a star off the field as she was named the National Honor Society in 2009-10…She is a Sports Medicine major and the daughter of Gregory and Robin Alston.
