2018: Destiny continued her solid career with some strong performances in 2017...She finished the season with a .350 batting average with 35 hits in 100 at-bats....She also recorded four home runs with three triples with three triples and three doubles.

2017: Destiny broke out to become one of the Rams' top players as a sophomore...She finished the season with a .352 batting average with 44 hits in 142 at bats and she scored 35 runs with 36 RBI...She also added 13 home runs....For her efforts, she earned first team All-CIAA honors as well as being selected to the D2CCA All-Region /District 2 Team and the North Carolina Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) All-State team.

2016: Destiny got a strong start to her career with the Rams...She had a strong freshman season that earned her several honors...She finished the season with a .297 batting average three doubles, four triples, and four home runs in 138 at-bats...She also added 10 stolen bases...Defensively, she totaled .920 fielding percentage with 55 putouts and 26 assists in 88 chances on the WSSU infield...She was named to the Conference Commissioner's Association (CCA) All-Region team and was also named to the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Rookie team.

Personal: Destiny joined the Rams in the fall of 2015 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is a 2014 graduate of Graham High School where she earned several honors…She earned all-conference honors in all four years of high school and was named to the All-State team in 2014…She was also an East-West Senior Gold Medal Champion in 2014…She is a Business Administration major and the daughter of Jo LaVerne Thacker.
