2016: Chyna continued her great career with the Rams with a stellar junior season...She played in all 53 games for the Rams splitting time between pitching and playing second base...She finished the season with a .276 batting average and totaled 47 hits, including two doubles and a triple...She also added 22 RBI with 33 runs scored...Defensively, she was a cornerstone for the Rams with 51 putouts and 65 assists with just seven fieldihg errors...She made a real mark as a pitcher where she had a 9-9 record with 11 complete games in 95.1 innings pitched...She had a 3.23 earned run average (ERA) with 62 strikeouts.
2015: There was no sophomore slump for Chyna as she had a great sophomore season…She played in 44 of the team’s 45 games and recorded a .395 batting average with 38 runs scored, the second most on the team…She also added eight stolen bases and was never caught stealing…She had 13 RBI…As a pitcher, she posted a 5-8 record in 13 appearances…She finished the season with 87.2 innings pitched and recorded 37 strikeouts…She also had a 3.83 earned run average (ERA) with just 32 walks....She also played in the outfield and spent time at second base as well for the Rams where she recorded 57 puts and had a .990 fielding percentage…For her efforts, she earned first team All-CIAA honors as a utility player.
2014: Chyna had a great freshman season with the Lady Rams…She finished the season with an impressive performance offensively and defensively…She was the only WSSU player to start in all 41 games last season…She finished the season with a .369 batting average and 16 RBI…She also ranked second on the team with 36 runs scored…She also added three triples…As a pitcher, she recorded a 5-2 record with 31 strikeouts to rank second on the team…She only allowed 51 hits as well..Defensively, she finished the season with a .981 fielding average…She also recorded 37 putouts with 14 assists and just one fielding error…For her efforts, she was named to the 2014 CIAA All-Rookie team.
Personal: Chyna joined the Lady Rams in the spring of 2014 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is a 2013 graduate of Airport High School in West Columbia, South Carolina where she earned several honors…She earned three varsity letters in softball and was named to the all-region team in 2011…She was also honored with the team defensive award…In addition to her athletic honors, she also earned several academic honors as well as she was inducted into the National Honor Society, earned a 4.0 GPA, and graduated 29th in her class of 244 students…She is a Clinical Laboratory Science major and the daughter of Thomas and Denise Riley.
