2020: Aniyah was off to a great start to her sophomore season, but the season was cut short. When the season ended, she was the team's leader with a .354 batting average. She was 17-for-48 with a double two triples, and four home runs. She also added 12 runs scored with 13 RBI in 18 games. Her best game of the season came against Walsh when she went three-for-three at the plate with a triple, two home runs, and four RBI along with two runs scored. 

2019: Aniyah made a great impact as a true freshman for the Rams. She played in 41 games with 40 starts for WSSU. She finished the season with a .339 batting average with 38 hits in 112 at-bats, including 10 doubles, two triples, and eight home runs. She was also 11-of-12 on stolen bases. For her efforts, she was named to the CIAA All-Rookie Team.

Personal: Aniyah joined the Rams in the fall of 2018. She is a 2018 graduate of Greene Central High School where she earned several honors, including being named to the all-conference team and being named conference player of the year. She was also a star in the classroom where she was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Beta Club, a STEM Scholar, and the National Technical Honor Society. She is a Pre-Nursing major and she is the daughter of Candice and Ronald Russell.
