2015: Teynia had a great season with the Rams...She stepped in to immediately become  the top offensive player on the team...She finished the season as the team’s leader with 241 kills and ranked seventh in the CIAA...She also added 49 total kills (10 solo) to ranked 12th in the CIAA....Her best offensive effort came when she recorded 17 kills in a win over West Virginia Wesleyan...She also recorded 15 kills at Fayetteville State...She had a great offensive effort at Glenville State when she recorded eight assists...Defensively, she also had a solid effort with 164 digs, including a season-high 16 digs at Virginia State...She also added four total blocks (none solo) at Fayetteville State.

Personal: Teynia will join the WSSU volleyball program in the fall of 2015 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She comes to WSSU after playing at Lenoir Community College where she ranked fifth in the nation in kills per set…She is a graduate of Paint Branch High School…She is a Mass Communication major and the daughter of Frances Harding and Terrence Shepherd.
