2016: Michelle had a strong junior season with the Rams…She was one of five players to compete in all 32 of the team’s matches…She finished the season with 168 digs and 22 assists…She also added four kills along with eight service aces.

2015: Played a key role in the Rams’ success last season as the team’s top defensive player on the back row...She finished the season with a team-high 409 digs and ranked third in the CIAA...She also added 68 assists and five kills...She recorded a career-high 25 digs at Livingstone, one of seven matches where she recorded at least 20 digs, including 23 digs in back-to-back matches at Saint Augustine’s and against North Greenville.

Personal: Michelle will join the WSSU volleyball program in the fall of 2015…She comes to WSSU after a season at Florida State College at Jacksonville…She is a 2013 graduate of Christian Military Academy…During her time in high school, she earned the Science award…She is a chemistry major and the daughter of Myrna J. Garcia.
