Biography

2016: Mia had a great 2016 season with the Rams…She made an immediate impact on the team in her first season…She finished the season with 218 kills to rank second on the team…She also added nine service aces…Defensively, she totaled 54 total blocks (three solo)…For her efforts, she was named to the 2016 CIAA All-Conference team.

Personal: Mia joined the Rams in the fall of 2016 after spending a season the University of Charleston (W.Va.)…During her time at Charleston, she led the team with 311 total kills…She was named to the Mountain East Conference All-Freshman Team and was a second-team MEC All-Conference selection…She is the daughter of Robert and Carla Herrod…She is a 2015 graduate of the Proviso Mathematics & Science Academy.
