2021-22: Reed played in 20 games for the Rams, starting in two competitions. Reed averaged 44.1 field goal percentage and finished 20th in rebounding in the CIAA with (3.5 RPG).
At CSU-Pueblo
Senior (2020-21): Playing in 14 games, and starting three competitions. Reed compiled 82 points, averaging 5.9 points per game, shooting 44% from the field, gathered 3.8 rebounds per game, totaling 4 steals and 7 blocks in his only season at CSU-Pueblo.
At Citadel
JUNIOR (2019-20): Played in 22 games, making four starts … Averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per contest … Set three career single-game highs … Scored in double figures in three games … Scored eight points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, and added four rebounds at home against Campbell (11/16/19) … Finished his 18 minutes of action at Southeast Missouri State (11/19/19) with six points and five boards … Scored in double figures for the first time on the year with 15 points and added seven rebounds at home against Carver (12/7/19) … Scored nine points and added five steals and four boards against Piedmont (12/10/19) … The five steals against Piedmont, which marked a career-high, are tied for 15th in program history for single-game steals … Scored a season-high 16 points and chipped in eight rebounds in a career-high 35 minutes at Longwood (12/19/19) … Finished his 29 minutes of work at NC State (12/22/19) with 10 points and seven rebounds … Scored eight points and added three assists in 23 minutes of work at home against Western Carolina (1/4/20) … Finished his 18 minutes of work with eight points, including hitting all four of his free throws at Chattanooga (1/22/20) … Scored seven points and brought down three rebounds in 17 minutes of action at home against Wofford (1/29/20).
SOPHOMORE (2018-19): One of only two players to see action in all 30 games … Made six starts near the mid-point of the season … Averaged 18.1 minutes, 6.2 points, and 3.6 rebounds per game … Eclipsed the 20-point mark twice during the season, including a career-high 22 points in the Bulldogs’ road win at James Madison (11/20/18) and 20 at Furman (1/5/19) … Came close to recording his first collegiate double-double with an 11-rebound, 7-point performance at home against Johnson (Fla.) (11/14/18) … Matched his career-high with four made 3-pointers twice, including at James Madison and at Furman … Had three assists seven times … Matched his career-high with four steals against Johnson & Wales (Charlotte) (12/5/18).
FRESHMAN (2017-18): Saw action in all 32 games, making 12 starts, including 10 straight from Dec. 16, 2017 – Jan. 27, 2018 … Finished the year tied for 16th in program history for 3-pointers made by a freshman with 32 … Finished the year tied for 12th in program history for steals by a freshman with 26 … Averaged 14.3 minutes, 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 3-pointer per game … In Southern Conference action, his numbers went up to 17.2 minutes, 6.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and just under 1.0 3-pointer per game … Led the ‘Dogs in scoring in two games, including netting a career-high 20 points on the road at Chattanooga (2/8/18) … In that game against the Mocs, matched his career high for 3-pointers in a game with four … Also had four treys against Point (12/16/17) and at home against Samford (1/11/18) … Scored in double figures in five total games, including three in a row from Dec. 16 to Dec. 30 … In that stretch, averaged 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 3-pointers per game … Scored 19 points off 7-of-12 shooting (.583) from the field at home against Samford in 27 minutes of work … Had a stretch of nine games where he converted at least one 3-pointer from Dec. 5, 2017 to Jan. 13, 2018
High school: Finished career as sixth-highest scorer in Garner Magnet school history with 1,374 points. Reed racked up 101 career wins and played in 113 varsity games, both school records. Led his squad to four GNRC titles and three appearances in the NCHSAA East finals. Just the 12th 1,000-point scorer in school history. As a senior, named GNRC Player of the Year and All-GNRC while scoring 509 points, grabbing 265 rebounds, handing out 66 assists, and leading Garner Magnet to a 27-3 record. Named North Carolina Coaches Association East All-State, a Carolina’s All-State game selection, a member of the Peachtree Corners Invitational All-Tournament Team, and was selected to the John Wall Invitational All-Tournament Team as a senior. As a junior, helped the team to a 29-3 record and finished the year with a career-best 53.5 shooting percentage from the field as he was named All-GNRC … Helped Garnet Magnet to a 28-1 record and the 4A state championship with 296 points in sophomore season … Career 72.7 free throw shooter.
Personal: Reed joined the Rams in the fall of 2020. Reed has played at The Citadel, as well as Colorado State University-Pueblo. Reed is the son of Timothy and Debra Reed.
