2017: Played in 58 games for the Rams...Finished the season with a .338 batting average with 72 hits in 213 at-bats, including 20 extra base hits...He had 51 runs batted in (RBI)...He also had 11 doubles with a pair of triples and seven home runs...He also added seven stolen bases.

2016: Played in 42 games for the Rams...He finished the season with a .341 batting average, going 47-for-138 at the plate with six doubles, three triples, and a pair of home runs...He also had seven stolen bases.

Personal: Emilio joined the Rams in the spring of 2017…He comes to Winston-Salem State after attending Monroe College where he was a first team all-conference short stop…Academically, he was also impressive, earning a spot on the Dean’s List…He is a 2013 graduate of Rahway High School where he earned several honors, including being named to the 2013 Under Armour Pre-Season All-America team and threw a perfect game…He is a Business Administration major and the son of Maria Vendrell and Jose Abreu.
