2017: Brandon had a strong season with the Rams...He played in 58 games for the Rams and finished the season with a .333 batting average with 72 hits in 216 at bats...He finished the season with 44 runs batted in (RBI) and 55 runs scored...He also added 11 doubles with 10 triples and seven home runs to rank sixth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in home runs...He finished the season with a .945 fielding percentage...He had 117 putouts with three assists...He finished the 2017 season ranked second in the nation in triples...For his efforts, he earned first team All-CIAA honors.

Personal: Brandon joined the Rams in the fall of 2016…He comes to Winston-Salem State after two seasons at Catawba Valley Community College…He is a 2014 graduate of East Forsyth High School…He had a stellar collegiate career, including leading the team to the Southeast Region Championship along with earning first team all-region honors…In high school, he earned all-conference honors twice…He is a History major and he is the son of Lisa and Brad Ford.
