2016-17: William had another strong season for the Rams…He played in all 27 games with 16 starts…He finished the season with 376 points and averaged 13.9 points per game…He also led the team in rebounding, pulling in 175 rebounds, averaging 6.5 rebounds per game…He also added 21 steals…His best game of the season came against Virginia Union when he recorded 33 points with eight rebounds….He also scored 24 points against Saint Augustine’s…His best rebounding effort of the season with 11 against Saint Augustine’s and Morris College.

2015-16: William stepped in right away to become one of the key players for the Rams in his freshman season...He played in all 28 games last season with seven starts...For the season, he totaled 192 points and 90 rebounds and averaged 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game...He also added four blocked shots...His best game of the season came at Chowan when he scored a career-high 18 points with seven rebounds...He also had 18 points at Johnson C. Smith.

Personal: William joined the Rams in the fall of 2015 where he will one of a large class of true freshmen…He is a 2015 graduate of Greenfield High School where he led the team to back-to-back Eastern Plains Conference championships…He was named the all-state team and also was named the conference tournament MVP…He was named to the all-area team as well…He earned a spot on the east and west all-star game and was a first team selection to the Atlantic Shores showcase team…He is a Business Law major and the son of Dwan Crandell and the late Tony Crandell, Sr.
