Winston-Salem State University

2019-20: Mason finished his career at WSSU with a terrific senior season. He played in 28 of the team's 29 games with five starts. He finished the season as the team leader with 45 blocks and 193 rebounds. His best game of the season came against Fayetteville State when he scored a season-high 16 points with a season-high 13 rebounds. He also had nine games with double-digit rebounds, including pulling in 12  rebounds at Johnson C. Smith. 

2018-19: Mason had a strong junior season witih the Rams, but he was hampered by injury. He finished the season playing in 22 games with two starts. He finished the season averaging 4.5 rebounds per game. He also totaled 15 blocks. He scored a career-high 21 points against Morris and he had nine rebounds at Johnson C. Smith.  

Personal: Mason joined the Rams in the fall of 2018. He came to Winston-Salem State University after playing two seasons at Sandhills Community College. In two seasons, he totaled 100 blocks in just two seasons. He also pulled in 498 rebounds as well. During his time at Sandhills, he was a defensive star. He was an NJCCA All-America selection and earned a spot in the NJCAA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. He is a graduate of East Wake High School.
