Civitan Park
The Civitan Park Track & Field facility was opened in the spring of 2008. The 33-acre facility acts as the home for Winston-Salem State University Rams Track & Field and serves as a practice facility for the Rams football team.
Covering around 33 acres, the facility includes a 400m running/walking track that surrounds a full 100-yard football practice field with a field goal as well as a 50-yard half-football practice field. Civitan Park was built as a joint effort between Winston-Salem State University and the City of Winston-Salem, N.C. The park is open to the public from dawn until 9:00 p.m. The facility is closed to the public during full-team practice times for Rams track & field and football. Civitan Park is located near a wetland area that runs adjacent to Salem Creek.
