HIGH SCHOOL:  Aaron lettered 4 years in baseball and 2 years in football…..high school baseball coach was Danny Allie……earned the Honor Roll award all 4 years in high school…..was a part of 2 state baseball championship teams while at St. Edwards high school…..was a running back for the national powerhouse St. Edwards football team…..

PERSONAL:  Accounting major……born 11/7/92….. career goal after college is to be a business executive or successful accountant……most memorable sports moment was winning the 2010 baseball high school state championship….favorite thing about WSSU baseball is the relentless commitment to winning championships.

COACH RITSCHE ON MARRERO:  Aaron is a very quick learner and a smart kid.  He’s improved defensively since day 1 and continues to adjust to catching a very talented Rams pitching staff and learning our defensive systems. He will provide depth at catcher competing for innings behind the plate with senior catcher Michael Robbins and fellow freshman Angel Quezada. He can swing the bat well and may see some time in the DH role or in the corner outfield as well.”
