COACH RITSCHE ON STARBUCK:  “Buck showed good maturity for a freshman in 2011.  He stepped up in some big pressure situations and did well for us.  He ate up a lot of innings out of the bullpen that allowed our pitching staff to rest throughout the season.  He’s good defensively and will need to continue to work on his bat to contend for innings at 3B in the spring.  However, he will still be a key bullpen pitcher once again in 2012.”
