HIGH SCHOOL:  At South Stokes High School Jacob was the high school teammate of fellow Ram Ryan Smith……on the baseball diamond Jacob was Honorable Mention All-Conference his freshman, sophomore and junior year………he was named the Conference Tournament MVP his senior year.

PERSONAL: Jacob is the son of Richard and Sharon Williams……..Jacobs favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees……..favorite things about WSSU Baseball is playing at BB&T Ballpark. 

COACH RITSCHE ON WILLIAMS:  “Jacob has got stronger and better since the first day he arrived on campus in the fall.  He’s developing as a pitcher and an outfielder.  He may also see time at first base in the future.   He will help us primarily off the bench this year but will be a big part of the future for the Rams baseball program.”
