Biography

2011 • FRESHMAN SEASON (Potomac State Community College):  Michael appeared in 14 games as freshman……..struck out 40 hitters in 44.1 innings of work.

 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Won the Coaches Award at East Forsyth High School playing for head coach Alan Plaster…….high school team finished second in the state of NC in 2010………was named “Business Student of the Year.”

 

PERSONAL: Son of James and Christie Drye…….major is Management Information Systems……..favorite athlete is Pedro Martinez…….favorite actor is Johnny Depp.

COACH RITSCHE ON DRYE:  “Michael doesn’t know how to throw a baseball straight.   Its not necessarily a bad thing as he can be very difficult to hit, especially when he throws his cutter down in the zone”
