2011 • RAMS FALL LEAGUE:  Ryan led the Rams Fall League (RFL) in appearances (11) on the mound…..struck out 5 hitters in 14.3 innings…..also hit .200 while seeing limited time at 3B…..

HIGH SCHOOL:  earned 4 letters in baseball, 2 in football, and 2 in swimming at Randleman HS…..head baseball coach was Van Hurley Jr…..awarded All-Conference for both baseball and swimming in high school……

PERSONAL:  Physical Education major…… born 9/21/93……parents are Scott and Trista Vickers…..career goal after college is to get a good job with his college degree or join the Professional Bullriders Association (PBA)…..most memorable sports moment was winning the baseball state title his senior year…..favorite thing about the WSSU baseball program is the team chemistry……

COACH RITSCHE ON VICKERS:  “Vick” is a competitor and with his unique pitching style he will make several appearances out of the bullpen as a righty specialist in games this spring.  Ryan had many good outings in the fall and will look to carry that over to the spring.  He also gives the Rams in extra solid glove at 3B and will compete for at-bats.  He’s our best at defending the bunt at third and will be used in defensive situations late in games.”
