2013 JUNIOR SEASON: Seth split time as a specialist out of the bullpen as well as in the closing role in 2013…2013 HIGHLIGHTS: Recorded the final 3 outs in a Rams victory over Millersville on 2/9/13…Tossed 1.2 innings allowing 1 ER with 1 K against Concord University on 2/17/13…Struck out 4 over 2 innings of work while allowing no walks in a relief appearance against Lincoln University on 3/16/13…Earned 2 saves in the same day against St. Augustine’s University in a CIAA regular season conference double header, recording the final 3 outs of game 1 and the last out via strikeout in game 2…Picked up his 3^rd save of the season against Virginia State on 4/6/13 allowing 0 runs while recording the final 3 outs of the game… Recorded the final 3 outs of the CIAA Championship against Chowan University.

2011 • SOPHOMORE SEASON (Surry Community College):  Seth was 6-3 appearing in 12 games at Surry as a sophomore……..struck out 56 hitters in 67 innings and had a 3.4 ERA.

2010 • FRESHMAN SEASON (Surry Community College):  Set was 1-3 with 21 strikeouts in 31 innings of work as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL:  At Parkland High School Seth excelled in baseball and was named to both the All-Conference and All-County teams.

PERSONAL:  Seth is the son of Keith and Tamera Mahaffey……..favorite athletic team is the Boston Red Sox……..favorite athlete is Pete Rose……..major is Physical Education……..favorite thing about WSSU Baseball is being able to play baseball in his hometown.
