Biography

2014: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: Taylor attended West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, North Carolina where he received all-state and all-conference awards and was also the team’s offensive and defensive player of the year in 2013.

Personal:  Taylor is the son of James and Kristi Idol.

Favorite thing about WSSU Baseball:  The programs winning mentality and organization. 

Coach Ritsche on Idol:  "Taylor has the best defensive hands we've ever had and can flat out play defense in the middle of the field.  Once his bat catches up to his defense he's going to be a special player in the future."
