Winston-Salem State University

Caitlyn joined the Powerhouse of Red & White in the fall of 2019...She joined the program as a member of its White Team...She comes to Winston-Salem State after attending Patrick Henry Community College where she had a great career with the Patriots's women's basketball team...She earned Most Improved Player honors with the team...In high school, she had a great career in many sports...She was the girls basketball team MVP during the 2013-14 season and she was the team's best defensive player as a sophomore and as a senior...She was also captain of both the girls basketball and the cheerleading teams...She was a 2016 All-American nominee in cheerleading and she was also the 2017 Most Improved player in soccer...She was just as impressive academically where she was a member of the top 10 in her graduating class and Class President...She is a Sports Management major and she is the daughter of Lisa and Cornelius Lassiter.
