Deja Reid is a proud two-time alumna of Winston-Salem State University who returns to the Powerhouse of Red & White as a member of the coaching staff. Reid earned her first degree in Healthcare Management from WSSU in 2021 before returning to complete her Nursing degree in 2025. During her undergraduate experience, she was a member of the Powerhouse of Red & White Cheerleading program from 2019 to 2021, where she developed a strong connection to the program and the WSSU community. She now brings her passion for cheerleading, leadership, and service back to her alma mater with a focus on supporting the growth and development of student-athletes. Reid is especially passionate about mentorship and inspiring the next generation of Powerhouse cheerleaders both on and off the sidelines.
