Biography

2018-19: Mateelyah joined the Powerhouse of Red & White as a true freshman when she became a member of the White Team...During her time, she earned the team's Most Spirited Award as well as earning a place on the Winston-Salem State University Dean's List.

Personal: Mateelyah joined the Powerhouse of Red & White in the fall of 2018...She came to Winston-Salem State University after graduating from Zebulon B. Vance High School where she had a great career...She was named her school's Most Athletic Female and earned Most Spirited honors from her team...She was also honored as her team MVP...Academically, she was named to the National Honor Society and she was a member of the Student Council...She is a Healthcare Management major and she is the daughter of Hana Mahmoud and Cameo Stephens.
