Amadeus “Moddi” Morris is a sophomore linebacker for the Winston-Salem State University Rams, majoring in Business Management. A native of Whiteville, North Carolina, Morris transferred to WSSU after beginning his collegiate career at Limestone University. He is a graduate of Whiteville High School, where he competed under coach J.P. Price and played linebacker, running back, and fullback for the Whiteville Wolfpack. Morris earned All-Conference honors, was named Defensive Player of the Year, and excelled academically as a National Honor Society and Honor Roll student.
Off the field, Morris is grounded in his faith, naming God as the person he admires most. He enjoys fishing, playing the drums, making music, and gaming in his free time. He has previously worked as a pool manager and is an avid supporter of the Seattle Seahawks and LeBron James. His favorite athlete is Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, whose passion and energy influence his playing style.
