Chrishon Springs joined the Rams football staff during the fall of 2024. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, has built a remarkable career in football both on and off the field. As a standout player, Springs was named Comeback Player of the Year in 2018 and Defensive Player of the Game in 2019, playing a pivotal role in helping the Broncos secure the championship at the 2019 Down East Classic. While excelling on the field, he also earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice , showcasing his dedication to both academics and athletics.
After graduating, Coach Springs returned to his roots at and began coaching at his alma mater, East Forsyth High School. As the defensive line coach, he has consistently developed top-tier talent, with two players making all-conference in back-to-back seasons. In the 2022 season, under his guidance, one of his players led the conference with an impressive 24.5 sacks. Springs is passionate about mentoring young athletes, instilling in them the same discipline and drive that has defined his own successful journey in football.
