Glenn Reese is a veteran football coach and offensive strategist with more than 19 years of experience at the collegiate and high school levels. Currently serving as Offensive Coordinator at Winston-Salem State University, Reese has established himself as a program builder, offensive innovator, and mentor of young men. Under his direction, the Rams’ offense achieved its best record since 2016, doubling receiver production and showcasing an efficient, high-tempo attack. The 2025 offense increased production in every major statistical category.

Prior to joining WSSU, Reese was a key member of North Carolina A&T State University’s staff, where he helped the Aggies capture consecutive Black College National Championships (2018-2019), MEAC Championships (2018–2019), Celebration Bowl titles (2018-2019), and an appearance in the Big South Conference Championship game in 2022. His contributions helped to produce one of the top-scoring offenses in the FCS among HBCUs. His career also includes successful stints at Wingate University (SAC Championship), Rhodes College, and Lincoln University of Missouri, where his teams consistently ranked among the leaders in offensive production and rushing efficiency.

A native of Mississippi, Reese holds a Master’s in Sports Coaching and Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mississippi State University. He is a two-time NCAA/NFL Coaches Academy participant, an active member of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches (NCMFC), and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Reese’s coaching philosophy centers on accountability, player development, and creating an adaptable, disciplined offensive system that empowers student-athletes to excel on and off the field.
