2022: Dieontate played in every game for the Rams, recording a total of 41 tackles, (33 solo) with 20 assists. He also recorded one sack and two interceptions. He had a season-high, 10 tackles against North Carolina Central. The Rams defense was ranked nationally and recognized by the AFCA. They finished the season #10 in total defense, #1 in first down defense in the nation, #4 in red zone defense in the nation (All of D2) for the CIAA they finished #1 in total defense in the CIAA, #1 first down defense, #1 in red zone, #2 in rushing defense, and #5 in passing defense.

2021: Playing in every game for the Rams, Jones had three interceptions to lead the Rams, and was second on the team in tackles with 40. He was named CIAA Defensive Back for week 10 after tallying a game-high 15 total tackles, including eight solos, against rival Fayetteville State. The senior defender also forced a fumble and had a pass breakup. Jones' tackle total was a single-game high in the conference this season.

2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19

2018-19: Jones played in six games for the Rams recording a total of 10 tackles with four assists. He also recorded one interception.

Personal: A transfer from North Carolina A&T, Jones joined the Rams in the fall of 2018. He played ball at 71st High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
