2023:  Played in every game for the Rams, he totaled 43 receptions for 598 yards and 7 touchdowns.  He also had his season high in yards (113) first game of the season against NC Central…He was also named ALL-CIAA First Team. 
 
2022: Played in every game for the Rams, he totaled 21 receptions for 442 yards with five touchdowns. He was named the Black College Hall of Fame Offensive Player of the game against Central State...His longest touchdown was for 72 yards in a win over St. Augustine's...he was named CIAA Receiver of the Week for week eight after having all season-highs in the game against SAU.

2019 (Wingate): R.J. Mobley saw action in 11-of-12 games as the Bulldogs won 10 games for the first time in school history…Wingate made its third consecutive trip to the NCAA playoffs…Caught 11 passes for 124 yards and one touchdown…Opened his collegiate career with four catches for 52 yards in Johnson C. Smith win…Grabbed three receptions each in victories over Carson-Newman and Catawba…Caught three passes for 54 yards at Catawba…Posted a TD reception versus Carson-Newman…Recorded two kickoff returns for 16 yards with a long of 14 versus UNC Pembroke…

Personal: RJ is a transfer student from Wingate University. He joined the Rams in the fall of 2022, and attended AC Flora High School, where he played football as both the wide receiver and cornerback. During his time at AC Flora, he earned the accomplishment of all regions for basketball, football, and track, as well as state champion for basketball. He is a Sports Management major and is the son of Anita and Ril Mobley.
