2013-14: Javan had a great first season with the Rams…He came off the bench to give the team a much needed punch in all 29 games…He finished the season with 230 total points, including a stellar outing against Clark-Atlanta in the Fresh Coast Classic…He also had four other double-digit scoring performances as well, including scoring 16 points against the Livingstone Blue Bears in the 2014 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Championship game…He had a knack for showing up in big situations, including hitting a shot in the final seconds at Johnson C. Smith that sent the game into overtime and set up one of the unique games in the history of college basketball…He also added 68 rebounds and 22 assists for the Rams as well.

Personal: Javan joined the Rams in the fall of 2013 where he was one of many talented newcomers to the team…He comes to Winston-Salem State after spending two seasons at Middle Georgia State College…He is a graduate of Eagle’s Landing High School and a native of Lovejoy, Georgia.
