2019-20: Melvin really stepped up his efforts in a big way last season. He played in 25 of the team's 29 games. He finished the season with 62 points and 25 rebounds. He scored a season-high seven points against Livingstone Livingstone in the opening round of the 2020 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. 

2018-19: Melvin played in seven games for the Rams and he finished the season with eight points. 

2017-18: Did not compete for the Rams. 

Personal: Melvin joined the Rams in the fall of 2017 where he was one of many talented newcomers to the team…He is a 2017 graduate of West Charlotte High where he earned all-conference honors…He was also named the Southeast Hoop Festival MVP and the team MVP…Academically, he was a National Technical Honor Society member and a graduate of the International Baccalaureate Program…He is a Sports Management major and he is the son of Angela and Melvin Huntley, Sr.
