2012-13: Maurice had a solid first season with the Rams…He saw time in 17 games for the Rams with no starts…He finished the season averaging 2.4 points per game, but scored a career-high 13 points at Fayetteville State…He shot a strong .548 field goal percentage….He also pulled in a career-high seven rebounds against Chowan as well as five rebounds at Fayetteville State and against Virginia State.

Personal: Maurice will join the Rams in the fall of 2012 where he will be one of many talented newcomers to the team…He comes to WSSU after spending two seasons at Davidson County Community College…He is a 2010 graduate of Wakefield High School where he earned numerous honors…He earned first and second team all-conference honors during his high school career and finished as the leading scorer in school history…He is a Therapeutic Recreation major and the son of Willie and Mary Nash.
