Biography

2022-23 - Teel played in 30 games for the Rams, starting in 19. He averaged 30.0 minutes, made 122 field goals, 41 3-pointers, averaged 11.9 in scoring. He toalted 92 rebounds, 86 assists, and 46 steals. Teel was named to the CIAA All-Tournament Team.

2021-22: Teel played in 23 games, starting in 3 competitions as a true freshman for the Rams. Teel averaged 9.3 points, shooting a field goal percentage of .387 and a three-point percentage of .342, 2.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds per game this season for the Rams. Teel received CIAA rookie of the week honors. 

Personal: Samage joined the Rams in the fall of 2020. He came to Winston-Salem State University as a graduate of Farmville Central High School where he led the team to two state championships, earned MVP honors, and was named MVP of the Christmas tournament. Academically, he also earned a spot on the honor roll. He is the son of Temika and Marlow Teel.
