2013: Did not compete for the Lady Rams last season.

2012: Had a solid first season with the Lady Rams softball program…She played in 44 games with 42 starts for the Lady Rams…She finished the season with a .302 batting average and tied for the team lead with three home runs…She added 32 RBI with 24 runs scored….As a defender, she finished the season with 52 putouts and four assists.

Personal: Francesa joined the Lady Rams this fall where she was one of many talented newcomers looking to make in immediate impact on the team…She came to WSSU as a volleyball star, but earned a spot on the Lady Rams softball team…She joined the Lady Rams after a pair of seasons at Catawba Valley Community College…She was named the 2010 Region X Volleyball Player of the Year and was named the team’s MVP in both seasons…She is a 2009 graduate of East Rutherford High School in Bostic, North Carolina…She was named the team MVP both as a junior and as a senior in high school…She is a Nursing major and the daughter of Cornelius Edgerton and Belinda Bates.
