Biography

2014: Katrina stepped in right away and was a dominant factor for the Lady Rams in 2014…In her first season with the Lady Rams, she led the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) with 10 home runs and led the team with 33 RBI…She also finished the season with the second highest batting average on the team (.393)…She started in 40 of the team’s 41 games for the season, primarily at the third base position…She also added 14 walks as well…Defensively, she recorded 46 putouts with 85 assists and just six fielding errors for the entire season…For her efforts, she earned numerous honors, including being named to the Daktronics Atlantic All-Region team…She also earned 2014 First Team All-CIAA honors as well.

Personal: Katrina joined the Lady Rams in the spring of 2014 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the game…She came to WSSU after playing at Louisburg College… She earned first team all-conference honors as a senior and posted the highest batting average in the conference and was an All-American nominee in 2013…She is a 2011 graduate of James B. Dudley High School in nearby Greensboro, North Carolina where she earned several high school honors…She is a Psychology major and the daughter of Eric and Antoinette Bartlett.
