Lauren joined the Lady Rams softball program in the fall of 2014 where she is one of many talented newcomers to the team…She comes to WSSU after playing at Winthrop University…Prior to playing at Winthrop, Lauren competed at Surry Community College as well…During her career, she has earned several honors…In high school she was a member of the High School Central Piedmont Conference 4A State and National Champions in 2010…She was also the North Davidson High School MVP…She earned All-County, All-State, and All-Region, and All-Conference honors as well...At Surry Community College, she earned first team All-Region and All-Tournament honors and broke the school record for home runs in a single game with three…She is a Social Work major and the daughter of Chip and Elizabeth Beaver.
