2020: Nyla was off to a strong junior season with the Rams before it was cut short. She played in 17 of the team's 18 games. She carried a .225 batting average when the season was ended. She went nine-for-40 at the plate with a double and six runs scored. She also added four stolen bases. Her best game of the season came against Alderson Broaddus when she went two-for-four at the plate with two runs scored. 

2019: Nyla returned for a solid sophomore season. She played in 43 games with 39 starts for the Rams. She finished the season with a .248 batting average with 27 hits in 109 at-bats, including two triples. She also added 28 runs scored with 11 RBI…Defensively, she had 20 putouts with eight assists and just one fielding errors. She had a .974 fielding percentage….She was eight-for-nine on stolen bases as well. For her efforts, she was a second team selection to the 2019 CIAA All-Conference Team.

2018: Nyla had a solid freshman season for the Rams. She finished the season with a .325 batting average. For the season, she totaled 37 hits in 114 at-bats…She also had seven doubles with nine RBI and 31 runs scored. For her efforts, she earned a spot on the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Rookie team.

Personal: Nyla joined the Rams in the fall of 2017. She is a 2017 graduate of Locust Grove High School where she earned second team all-region honors in 2017 and the Offensive Award in 2014. She is a Chemistry major and she is the daughter of Cherl and Chris Howard.
