2020: Semaj was off to a strong start to her career with the Rams before the 2020 season was cut short. She played in 17 of the team's 18 games played. She finished the season with a .286 batting average. She had eight hits in 28 at bats for the Rams with a double and a home run. Her best game came against Clark Atlanta when she went two-for-three at the plate with a double and an RBI. 

Personal: Semaj joined the Rams in the fall of 2019…She comes to Winston Salem State after a terrific high school career…She is a 2018 graduate of Wake Forest High School where she was a four-year all-conference selection and she was named a team captain as a senior…She was a star in the classroom as well where she was named to the A/B honor roll as well as being an All-Academic selection.. She was also named to the National Society of High School Scholars…She is a Special Education major and she is the daughter of Chanel and James Brown.
