Winston-Salem State University

The Winston-Salem State University Sports Medicine Department got a big boost with the addition of Regyn Davis-Young as an assistant athletic trainer. She comes to Winston-Salem State University with a terrific academic career and an impressive start to her professional career.

Prior to joining the staff at Winston-Salem State University, Davis-Young’s career was off to a promising start. She was an assistant athletic trainer with the United States Naval Academy.

Davis-Young has a strong academic pedigree. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. During her time with the Hawks, she also competed on the track & field team. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Salisbury University.
