2013-14: Briana was enjoying a great season where she developed into a leader for the team before suffering a season-ending injury at Shaw…Though sidelined, she continued to lead the team with her knowledge of the game and positivity…She finished the season with career best totals despite playing in just 16 games…She totaled 28 points for the season with 26 total rebounds…She also totaled five steals.

2012-13: Briana had a strong sophomore season where she played in 26 of the team’s 27 games…She finished the season with 18 total points and 14 rebounds…She also added five assists as well.

2011-12: Briana had a strong freshman season for the Lady Rams…She played in 15 games with five starts…For the season, she averaged 1.4 points per game with 1.1 rebounds per game…Her best effort came early in the season when she scored a career-high eight points against Wingate…She took a career-high eight free throws in the game.

Personal: Briana joined the Lady Rams in the fall of 2011 as one of many talented newcomers to the team…She will bring some much needed strength and depth to the WSSU frontcourt…She is s 2011 graduate of Hibriten High School in Lenoir, North Carolina where she enjoyed a strong career with the Lady Panthers…During her career, she earned numerous honors, including being named the team MVP in both the 2009-10 season and the 2010-11 season…She was also named the team player of the year…For the 2010-11 season, she also earned all-county and all-conference honors as well…A gifted athlete, she was also a member of the Panthers’ 4x100m and 4x200m sprint relay teams…An exercise science major, she is the daughter of Vanders Bowers.
