Biography

2013-14: Jovanah stepped up her offensive efforts as a junior and had a strong season…She became one of the team’s top scoring options on the interior and displayed a nice shooting touch on the perimeter…She finished the season with a career-high 463 points and averaged a career-best 9.2 points per game…She also finished the season tied for the team lead in rebounds (173) and led the team in rebounds per game…She scored a career-high 17 points twice during the season with 17 points in front of her hometown crowd at Fayetteville State and also added 17 points at Livingstone…She also pulled in eight rebounds twice during the season.

2012-13: Jovanah had a great sophomore season with the Lady Rams where she stepped up her efforts to become a regular starter for the team...She played in all 28 games with 21 starts...She finished the season with 137 total points and averaged 4.9 points per game...She finished the season with 111 total rebounds and averaged 4.0 rebounds per game...She also added four blocked shots...She scored a season-high 12 points at Bowie State, one shy of tying a career-high against the Lady Bulldogs.

2011-12: Jovanah had a solid freshman season for the Lady Rams where she was a key member of the squad off the bench…She played in all 28 games with four starts….She finished her freshman season averaging 3.4 points per game with 3.1 rebounds per game…Her best outing of the season came at home when the Lady Rams hosted the Bowie State Lady Bulldogs…She finished the game with a career-high 13 points ...She reached double-digit scoring once more during the season with 10 points at Saint Augustine’s College…She recorded her first career double-double in the game with a career-high 10 rebounds in the game.

Personal: Jovanah joined the Lady Rams in the fall of 2011 where she was one of many talented newcomers to the team…She is a 2011 graduate of E.E. Smith High School where she was a tremendous three-sport athlete…She earned multiple honors across the different sports and will have a chance to be an immediate contributor to the Lady Rams’ squad…She earned four varsity letters in basketball where she led the Golden Bulls to three Holiday Classic Championships and a conference championship…She earned a spot on the All-District team as well as an all-conference honors…She was also named to the all-tournament team twice and earned second team all-region honors as well…She earned the team’s Outstanding Rebounder award three times and was named the team’s Outstanding Post Player twice…For her leadership, she was honored with the Sherwin Dans Leadership Award and she also earned the P.T. Carter Sportsmanship Award…In addition to her work on the basketball court, Graham also competed in both volleyball and track & field…She is a Business Administration major and the daughter of Arlis Murray and Geraldine Graham.
